Olympus Property Group were approached by a developer to demolish an existing end of terrace property to make way for a new 4-bedroom detached dwelling on the site. Following extensive pre-construction consultations, the project commenced at the end of February 2022 with the existing property being carefully removed and demolished and the groundworks for the new structure being carried out.

Unfortunately, there was an unforeseen main drainage channel that was not identified prior to commencement of works that caused two month’s delay on site whilst permission was granted from Southern Water to divert. Despite this, works to the one remaining terrace property gable end was able to continue and eventually the project was underway again and finally completed in May 2023.

This property was a stand out in respect to sustainable materials and efficiency and the developer was able to sell the property with relative ease to a lucky new homeowner.
